Hello All,
I am wanting to go to Versailles on a Saturday to see the night fireworks show. What do you do when the palace closes at 6:30 but the show does not start until 8:30? Do you just hang out in the garden for 2 hours, or do they make you leave and re-enter?
I have been on their website for over an hour and cannot find out this answer.

I think what I am going to do is book the serenade show and a fireworks show ticket to get a quick tour through the palace and then walk the gardens before the fireworks show. I did not know about this serenade option in the chapel and hall of mirrors.
I will be there on a Saturday in the summer when both of these events are open. Some guidance I found through reviews is to book the last serenade show so that you don't have to wait around for "doors" to open for the gardens.
Note that I have been here 3 times, so I have seen the palace already. For this trip, I really want to see the fireworks.
