When I try to purchase a timed ticket entry to Versailles, it only gives 9 AM as an option. Why? And if I arrive at 10 AM, say, will I be able to get in? Plus, it is my understanding that a timed ticket lets one pass the inner security line. Is that correct?
an ordinary non timed ticket always gives 9 as the entry as it is good from 9 all day. Are you sure that this is a timed ticket? You do pass the inner security line with a genuine time slotted ticket.
I don't see a separate option for a timed ticket entry. Maybe they're not on sale yet? But I'm trying to buy for early April, so one would think they would be on sale. Or maybe there's a separate place to buy them that I'm not seeing, other than the general passport option? Any ideas? I worry about the lines because we'll be traveling with our granddaughters and I think that a long wait would be a disaster. Thanks so much.
