Versailles Tickets - Saturday, June 17th

Hi, all. There are many choices on the Versailles web site and I need some advice. Three travelers (two adults and a 15 year old) and we will have Paris Museum Passes. Should we get?:

25 Euro - "Passport" (includes Palace, Trianon, Gardens + Musical Fountains, Coach Gallery) - Is this covered by Paris Museum Pass, except for Musical Fountains?
7 Euro - Kings Apartment Tour
9.50 Euro - Musical Fountains (not needed if we get Passport?)
26 Euro - Fountains Night Show
24 Euro - Royal Serenade of Hall of Mirrors

Thank you!
Jennifer

the kid is free to the chateau; will have to pay for tours or gardens (if the show is on)

The pass covers the Chateau and things like the Trianon and Hameau. A King's apartment tour lets you skip the long long long security line for chateau entry as you use a different entrance; I would get that and then pay for garden tickets on site if you want to do that. The apartment tour is 7 Euro for each of you on top of the museum pass and for the teen who doesn't need a ticket for the chateau but will for the add on tour. No point buying the passport or whatever since basic admission is covered by the pass and free for the kid.

I would ignore stuff like the fountain night show and royal serenade etc.

Hi Jennifer,

I believe the Paris Museum Pass with cover everything that the Versailles Palace Passport covers, except the Musical Fountains. That will be extra since you are going on a Saturday and the garden fountains will be running. We are going in September and will have a Paris Museum Pass as well. We will be purchasing the last four things on your list. It may be a lot to do in one day, but sounds wonderful! The Kings Apartment Tour is wise because it will allow you to skip the longer security line. I think it will be nice to see both fountain shows -- day and night -- especially since the night show is followed by fireworks. The Royal Serenade looks wonderful as well. There is a combination ticket for the night fountain show and the serenade for around 42 Euro.

Hope this helps...

Greetings!
We will also be visiting Versailles on Saturday, June 17th! I am traveling with my 2 daughters (12 & 16). I have purchased tickets to the Night Fountain Show, but am also unsure as to what other tickets to purchase. The Pass (1 day), Museum Pass, King's Apartment, so many choices. It is becoming a project in itself to figure out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Mary (Michigan)
