Tried going in to buy the Passport pass for this date but the site won’t take the date? Any idea of how far in advance Versailles can be purchased

According to the official Versailles website this (tours, individual tickets highly likely to be the same); Mandatory booking, as early as 3 months before the day of the visit (on the first working day in the month). On the form to request a guided visit for a group of adults, you can select up to three dates. Visits are possible every day that we are open except public holidays and free-admission Sundays, subject to availability of places.

I looked on the French website for Versaille and the Louvre. They are selling May and June only, which is probably due to uncertainty about C-19 cases, if the country will remain open, a 4th wave, etc.
Remember that vaccination in France has just started to take off, so the cultural sites are being cautious for now.
