I know I need to get the Passport Ticket online for the 4 of us, no problem. However when I was looking I also wanted to sign up for the English Speaking Guided Tour but I didn't see that as being offered. 8 years ago I visited Versailles with my husband and Rick was spot on when he wrote. . . .as you go through the gates DO NOT go to the left and stand in line but GO TO THE RIGHT to building? and enter door number? And sign up for the English speaking tour. It was great, no lines and we saw rooms that you don't see on the regular tour. Once the English speaking tour was over we were allowed to walk through other rooms that we may have missed. Is this still available? Mom and 3 adult daughters going in April. Perhaps, you are thinking of the Kings Apartment Tour, which is still available. The thing is though that a lot has changed about getting into Versailles over the past eight years with the introduction of timed tickets. The Kings Apartment Tour is offered in English and French. You can try and see if you can find an English speaking one by looking at https://billetterie.chateauversailles.fr/guided-tour-the-king-s-private-apartment-visite-chateau-css5-chateauversailles-pg51-ei170661.html. With timed tickets, I am not sure that signing up for the tour will save you time waiting in line which is not to say you will not have to wait in line but just to say that with timed entrances, the lines move much better than they did eight years ago.
