Versailles: Taxi stand near the Trianon Palaces

We'll be visiting Versailles in a few weeks and need to get to the Versailles-Chantiers station after visiting the sights around the Trianon Palaces. Is there a taxi stand in the area?

I do not believe there is a taxi stand anywhere close to the Trianons. I think your best bet is to ask at one of the Trianon's for someone to call a taxi for you.

If you walk north-northeast from the Trianon Palaces along the Allee Saint Antoine (the main allee that goes north from the end of the Grand Canal closest to the palace) there is a side gate to the grounds for both pedestrians and automobiles. It exits out onto the Boulevard St. Antoine where there is a small parking lot. I don't know if there is a taxi stand there but if you arm yourself with an app on your phone so that you can call a car, they can probably pick you up there. Haven't used one of the mini-cab type apps in France yet but have used them in England and they are great! I know that Uber operates in Paris but I don't know if they come out as far as Versailles...you'd have to research to find a company you can easily use. I'm sure your hotel could recommend one.
