Our time in Paris leaves us the choice of either Saturday or Sunday to go to Versailles. Monday it is closed and we leave on Tuesday.
Our schedule cannot be changed.
Is one day better than the other? (May 19 or 20)

I would go for Sat as it may be slightly better than Sunday. Go early.

I don't think it matters - it will be crowded whenever you decide to go.

Saturday i would say.
