Versailles Rive Gauche from Gare d'Austerlitz RER Stat

Hi,

has anyone travel directly via RER C line from Gare d'Austerlitz to Versailles Rive Gauche station?
I'm confused with the local ratp.fr website. As far as I could see, it should be a direct train line but it keeps directing me to have 2-3 transits in between. I've tried all the options, the quickest, the least changes with the same results.

I check with German's Bahn.de website and it doesnt show any transit but without any explanation which train line should I take

Also just want to confirm that Versailles Rive Gauche station should be the best station in terms of walking distance to the Palace?

When do you want to go? There might be closures on the line, depending on the date.

This map shows summertime closures on the Metro/RER system for Paris and its surrounding areas.

And indeed, if you're looking for July 15th or later, until August 20th, the map indicates that the RER Cwill be closed between Gare d'Austerlitz, Avenue Henri-Martin, and Javel.

Hi Kim,
thanks so much for the info. I'll be going on Sunday, the 12th of July which should be fine? On the local ratpf France website, there's no warning unlike the Concorde line 12 that's under construction until 10th of July. i also find RER C schedule from paristrain website for the Versailles train schedule beginning 15th of July until Aug and the train looks like still operate as normal within every 15minutes. This really confuses me
