Versailles Passport tickets online asked for each name - do we need to bring ID?

You always need to have ID. I don't carry my passport for security reasons when out touring during the day but always have a xerox copy of it as well as my DL. They are unlikely to ask for ID when using tickets for anything including Versailles. Occasionally we have had train conductors look at our passport when collecting train tickets, but even that is fairly rare.

Kelsea, regardless of whether they ask for them or not, it's a good idea for a tourist to always have some form of legal photo ID on them at all times.
