Versailles on a Saturday for Musical Fountains/Night Show/Royal Serenade: Is it Worth It?

Hi Everyone,

I'm heading to Paris with my girlfriend next week and I want to take her to Versailles. I've been before, but I've never been on a Saturday for all the activities: the Musical Fountains, the Night Show, and the Royal Serenade. It looks pretty amazing.

But then there are the crowds. Crowds are supposedly the worst on the weekends. Has anyone been on a Saturday to see the above shows and was it worth it? Or did the crowds just make it too frustrating?

Depending on the responses that I get, we may go on Wednesday, when crowd's are not as bad according to the Versailles Chateau website: http://en.chateauversailles.fr/prepare-my-visit-/single/faq-en#meilleur/

Thanks for your input!

Best,
Steve

Yes, I was fortunate to be at Versailles twice and see the Eaux de Musicales, and I loved it! I thought it was definitely worth it! I highly recommend it, and I could spend all day at Versailles and the gardens! allow a lot of time for there.
