yes. You will be admitted to the palace with the tour group where your palace entry ticket will be validated/checked. The tour ticket is an add on to the basic passport or palace ticket. You wait in a waiting room with seating for the tour and then will be escorted to this designated entrance with your group for security and ticket checking.
