I'm thinking of purchasing VIP tickets for Versailles. Guidatour website states the ticket allows access to Versailles by avoiding the lines.
Website states you meet at their office near the Versailles train station and then you are taken to the entrance, by pass the lines and are provided an audio device.
Has anyone joined a Guidatour?
If so, please share your experiences.
Thank you.
No experience but in all of these no line claims remember there are two lines --- one to buy tickets and one for security. Easy to skip the ticket and security is another issue. Are they providing some type of a fast pass through security? That would be the question.
You can get audio guide headsets yourself at the entrance. From what you describe the benefits to this “tour” are minimal.
If you can still sign up for the king apartments through Versailles web site, that was worth it. Other wise, pick up a museum pass and use it to avoid ticket line. There is still a line for security, get there as early as you can.
