Hello
I have booked most of my train tickets in advance--but realized I forgot to book the Vernon (Giverny) to Paris ticket. Is the ticket cheaper if purchased in advance? Or is it the same price if I buy it the day we leave?
Thanks
Terri

Should be about the same price purchased in advance or same day, though the price does fluctuate slightly throughout the day.
Some of the trains are TER trains and the price should be same whether purchased in advance or not. Other trains are intercites and for those the lower priced tickets might sell out. Ultimately, this is not a situation with a large amount of money at stake. Last time I checked, a same-day, second class ticket was about 15€ and a ticket bought almost three months in advance was 8.9€
It is a bit cheaper in advance, but you lose some flexibility as you can't change the time of your train for free so I wouldn't bother. Ticket's can't sell out on that route.
