Verizon network roaming and Google wallet -any problem reading tickets?

Hi
I loaded all my tickets- Netherlands to Paris train tickets, Louvre museum, Palace of versailles onto my Google wallet.
I don't believe I need a data connection to open these. I will sign up for Verizon international Travel pass. Not sure how reliable it is, I never used it.
Any one faced problem opening tickets on wallet Or should I also print paper tickets as back up?

Thanks all.

You don't need a network connection for Google Wallet except if you're loading new tickets or credit cards to it. I find it very reliable.

Haha, just something my kids have said to me a few times. Its redundant, but I like to screenshot tickets and similar and email them to myself and my husband. Just like I do with credit cards and IDs, I don't want to have an issue if my phone is lost or stolen or if there is some kind of computer/network issue.

As far as the Verizon International Travel Pass, is this the plan that costs $10? If so, I have used it on my last several trips and it worked great!

I do that when I can as a backup, but some platforms such as Ticketmaster prevent you from taking screenshots as a precaution from theft and fraud and the barcode actually refreshes every 15 seconds. I can still take a screenshot of such things as my airline tickets from my preferred airline, however its App doesn't require a data connection to bring up that ticket. Data is required to check in though.
