I have used it. Pretty easy to use. I will be in Paris in 10 days and plan on using it for the way back. I’m also using the Abbot at home covid test kit that American airline recommended and it will upload right to varifly.. definitely saves time at the airport

Djh32781- good to know ty! It appears that I can’t put my travel information (doesn’t go past today’s date) in there yet- I guess I have to do it the same day of travel? I don’t leave until right before Christmas.

We transited through Heathrow last month on our way from Canada to France and British Airways advised us pre departure to make sure to use Verifly. So I entered everything in there but when departing Canada, the BA gate agent didn't want to see Verifly, only paper copies. However on the return flight (departing France and transiting through Heathrow on our way back to Canada) i filled out Verifly again and this time the BA agent in France wanted to see it.

Djh32781 - did you purchase the Abbott test at your local pharmacy? Thanks.

The Abbott test must have the Rx designation on the box , not OTC in order to work. The only versions I have seen in our local pharmacies are the OTC ones. You can order the correct version through emed.

You can set up the Verifly app beforehand but can't fill in the flight specifics until 48 hours before your flight. (That's when you can get the Passenger locater form from the UK.)

The AA agent at JFK didn't ask to see the app but the BA agent in Toulouse did. It made boarding a lot easier.

I got the Abbott test thru a link on American Airlines website which takes you to emed.com. Be careful cause you can get a similar Abbott test at your local pharmacy but it might not be approved for international travel. It’s a specific test. United and Delta will also allow you to use the same test.

Used it a couple of times earlier this year when returning from Mexico on American Airlines. Easy and no problems.

We used VeriFLY out of LAX in August for a trip to the Bahamas on AA. It was really sort of hit or miss. There were several layers of check in, and the general response was to not want to look at VeriFLY - however, the actual check in at the counter, take our bags agent quickly and happily accepted it when I mentioned we had it ready. So it did speed the process there and eliminated the hassle of digging out and putting away paper docs. There are only a few airline using it though. I really wish there was just a standard option throughout the industry that all the agents actually utilize.
