Heading to Paris at the end of this month. For those who have been to Paris in the past couple of months, can you tell me whether the Velib 2.0 public bike service issues have been resolved? I recall reading a number of months ago that Velib "2.0" was a total disaster. Any updates? Thanks.
I also read about this but not only are the bikes everywhere, there are also gaggles of electric scooters everywhere too. No matter your preference you can find wheels all over the place. I was in Paris during the last half of July and and the first half of August and we didn't have problems using either. The bike rental stations that were closed and "under repair" seemed to be in the outer, more residential areas of the city. We stayed in the 12th and the bike rental station at our metro station, Montgallet, was out of order. I didn't see a single one out of order in the tourist center.
