Hello. I’ve searched here, and the official CDG website. Does anyone know the precise location of the customs office at CDG Terminal 2A? Is it in the public area or after security screening? I’m already informed about VAT and US rules, so no need to expound upon those. I plan to purchase a high end souvenir, so some effort to recoup the VAT would be beneficial. Thanks!

"Proceed at a French Customs desk when you arrive at the airport for your return journey.
Do this before checking in your baggage, before security, and ensure you have the items and documents with you for inspection.
After security, you can bring the validated Tax Free form to a “Travelex” store for an instant cash refund."
