Hi. My family and I fully vaccinated and boosted. Rules to enter France are different for tourists from England and the US. We will be traveling from England to France and I was wondering if anyone was in the same situation where they had to test before arrival.
If you are fully vaccinated and boosted with an mRNA booster (and it has been at least 7 days since you have received the booster), you are fine to enter France from the UK (or from the U.S. for that matter).
Its always about where you're coming from, not the country that issued your passport.

And where you have been in the recent past, 10 Days seems to be a rule of thumb. Just being in the UK a day does not wipe out any requirements imposed on travelers from the US, if that was where you were.
Thank you, hoping for things to stay this way! planning on a two and a half months road trip with two kids after 3 years of grad school ;)

From where are you quoting this information? Lacking evidence to the contrary, there is no such rule of thumb entering France. The rules are as Stan has stated; entry requirements, in reference to Covid protocols, are based entirely upon from where you enter France.
Further to Tocard's underlining that France doesn't have any 10-day rule like some countries have instituted :
the info I provided is correct, as the UK is currently considered an Orange country by France, and thus those are the entry requirements.
