My husband, elderly mother and I will be in Paris for 9 nights and are looking for an apartment in Ile Saint Louis with an elevator. All of Rick's recommendations in his Paris book are unavailable. Anyone know where else to look?

Is the elevator a must have and must it go all the way to the floor where the apartment is located? What about a ground floor apartment in a non-elevator building? Will that work? Try looking at booking.com. Also Guest Apartment Services, which specializes (more or less) in Ile-St-Louis. I have no idea if GAS apartments are registered.

I did not look to see if they have a registration number and are legal, but they both look nice.
