We are spending 4 days in Normandy, and we are considering hiring a private guide for the day that we plan to spend at and around Utah Beach. We are all big fans of the Band of Brothers, and thought a private guide may bring their experiences more to life, while engaging our wives's attention.

We.used HQCompany tours in Bayeau. We splurged for an all day private tour For the two of us and it was one of our best ever travel experiences. Four young men who worked for a major tour company started.their own company. Yanni was our guide and did we get lucky with him. Picked up at our bed and breakfast at nine and dropped off about five. Perfect day. Good luck.

I'm not sure they had much time on Utah Beach and the 506th PIR was primarily airborne. The tours do seem to cover Omaha Beach however.
