Heading to Paris in October and plan on purchasing a couple of Skip the line tours for the Louvre and Versailles
What is best travel touring site to book with? Viator, My Parisian Tours or Paris City Vision are the tour companies we were thinking of booking with and leaning towards Viator. I know we can reach out for private tours, but with only two people we don't want save that the money for other expenses.
Just remember that Viator doesn't run any tours. They are middlemen, and resell tours offered by others.
Your contract will be with the actual tour provider.
If you have a problem you won't get help - probably - from Viator.
I'm not suggesting to use or not use them, just to be aware.

We booked several tours last year through Viator when traveling in Spain. As mentioned by others, Viator is the middleman. I think you would do better dealing with a Paris Tour Company directly with recommendations from others who have used them IMO.

So are you saying that My Parisian Tours or Paris City Vision would be the company that Viator is the middleman for? The prices are similar. Or are they too just a middle man selling for the originating tour company. When I went to Rome a few years back, I purchased directly from the Vatican and the Coliseum, but the trips were in late November and there were no long lines to worry about. I want the skip the line options and didn't see that initially doing my research for the Palace or Versailles or the Louvre.
I have used http://www.paris-trip.com/ several times and have never had a bad tour. Many of the people you meet on the tour are repeat customers.
Andre yws exactly ,, Viatour is just a middle man agency they do not run tours . if you book with them they are just reselling tickets they purchase from tour companies. Sometimes you get a deal ( as they may get a price break for a bulk buy) , sometimes you pay the same, and sometimes you pay more,bit the real issue is if there is any problem you basically have no ability to deal with the tour company.
It is almost always smarter to purchase directly with tour company.
Yes, Viatour sells Paris City Vision. Tours among others, why not biy from Paris Visions direct. ?
