Using Paris Pass / Museum Pass with kids.

I'm trying to figure out if its worth it to buy 2 passes and then have my three kids with me who get in free to almost everything. Has anyone done this before? Can you bring them to the front of the line with you or do you have to line up to get them a "free ticket". Thanks

We recommend the Museum Pass, not the more expensive Paris Pass. Yes, you can bring free kids straight to the security line with you, skipping the ticket line, at all major sites except at the Arc de Triomphe and the Musee de l'Armee (where I would not expect a line, anyway).

The Museum Pass is a good deal and at some museums you will use special security lines that are shorter; this is particularly valuable at the Musee d'Orsay. the kids just walk in with you. If any of them is old enough or big enough to look 18 then be sure s/he has at least a copy of the passport to establish age. We never had this problem with our 14 year old but a friend had her 17 year old checked for age.

You do not even need a museum pass to be able to skip ticket lines and use special pass holder entrances. Just purchase tickets on line from a musuem´s own website and you´ll be received just like a museum pass holder.
