We will be in France in mid June for 10 days - chamonix, normandy area and paris. My son has an iphone XR which has dual sim - one physical and one esim - does anyone have any experience with downloading a code to use the esim in France. Specifically, what carrier? Seems that France does not support esim, but there are some that service all of Europe? Thanks

Actually the forum had a similar question recently and Irene the OP really solved it. She had her carrier move their service to the esim, leaving the option open to use a regular sim in Europe. Here is a link to the thread.
I participated in the thread along with many others, but her contributions really show how to solve the problem of moving your carrier to the esim. Once you’ve solved that, we’ll all have lots of input on European pay as you go Sims.
