Using Chase points for renting auto in Nice. Issues?

I’d like to use points on my sapphire reserve card to rent a car and see that they have models from all the major US rental agencies (Hertz, Avis etc). I’ve read in the portal that using Auto Europe is best, especially as they have a 24/7 help line available. Anyone have issues using a credit card company to rent the car, or once rented, in getting assistance if needed while on vacation?

I have never tried to do a rental car through Chase with points, but I have done some other travel arrangements. The big advantage of using the points is that the points end up with 1.5 times their cash value when used for travel.
