Update: Receipt of Pass Sanitaire

I'm starting a new thread for easy searching.

We applied 8/10/21. Two people, two applications, sent from same email account.

Received one confirmation: for my application.

Today we received one of our two passes - for the person who did NOT get a confirmation receipt.

From: AREA1 No-reply.

Came straight to my Gmail Inbox.

I'll follow up when I receive mine.

Once this program began, we've assisted 20+ persons heading to France. For our later requests - since perhaps 8/17/2021 - we have been receiving this reply from the COVID-PASS Area1 department:

Bonjour, Nous recevons actuellement un grand nombre de demandes. Nous
faisons de notre mieux pour les traiter. Merci de ne pas renvoyer de
mail. Le résultat négatif d'un test antigénique effectué en pharmacie,
disponible dans toute la France, permet d'obtenir un passe sanitaire
valable trois jours (72 heures). Bien cordialement, La cellule passe
sanitaire touristes Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères

Dear Sir or Madam, We inform you that we are currently receiving a
very large number of requests. We are doing our very best to process
them. Please do not send your email again. A negative result of an
antigen test taken at a pharmacy, available all over France, grants
the user a health pass that is valid for three days (72 hours).
Regards,

I sent my request on 8/11 and got the automated response almost immediately after sending. Have not heard anything else from them. Our date of travel is 10/1. Will post update if I hear anymore.

When you submitted your documents, did you enter your date of arrival in France in the subject line after your name? I did not, because the instructions I followed did not specify that:

https://franceintheus.org/spip.php?article10408&fbclid=IwAR3GVwIEYpDVcEvX9V_usUDPqmmOpDybpWSGTnn8W4EU39CjJ6J9-GJibbI

I received the automated reply that requests not sending duplicate requests, so I'm going to leave it alone and see what happens. Our flight isn't until the second week of September.

FranceintheUS.org put the wrong link in there. Here's the right one: https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/en/coming-to-france/coronavirus-advice-for-foreign-nationals-in-france/coronavirus-statements/article/applying-for-a-covid-certificate-if-you-were-vaccinated-abroad-procedure-for

And yes, it's still asking for arrival date in the subject line of the email. I don't know what they'll do with your application - at least you got a confirmation.

Well, at least people have received the automated responses so they know their applications have been received. I submitted my application on 8/16 and to date have not received an automated reply.

JHK, did you check your email junk folder? Automatic replies are typically set up to be sent as soon as the email is received by the server; there is no actual person sending the reply. So, if you didn’t receive it almost immediately, the email most likely was not received. Did you send another application from that same email address? Most automatic reply messages will only be sent once to each sender, even when multiple emails are sent by that sender. So, if you previously sent another application from that same email address, you shouldn't expect to receive a second automatic reply.

As mentioned, we processed 20+ applications - Some observations:

  • The QR Codes will be sent to the email address listed on the Application form, thus check your entered email carefully. (We used Adobe Acrobat Pro to create text boxes as the form email line was so small).
  • The forms were sent from our business email address and that's the email address where we received all the "replies "confirming receipt of the application - but again, the QR codes go to the "form" email.
  • Of the 20+ sent, we've received confirmations on only 90% - yet we have a program that notifies us when an email has been viewed/opened, so we know they have all been received.
  • The "return process" is rather random. For one party of four that we helped, three of them have received their QR codes, the 4th still waits. (And neither we nor they have any idea of when he will get his QR code).
  • We received our original "link info" from a vendor in France --- and initially, there was no date request in the Subject Line. Thus, we did not "add dates. Folks did receive their QR Codes, so not sure that makes a difference.
  • The "fastest" processing of a QR code was 4 days. The longest - so far - has been 9 days.
  • As we were able to verify when an email was opened, we sent one request per traveler.
  • I suggest you "bcc" yourself so you can verify the email went through (unless you have other tracking methods).

@ Carrie, I just checked my Spam/Junk folder. Thanks for the reminder. It was not there. I have Gmail and my emails are sorted into primary, social, and promotions. I never read the latter two categories and automatically delete them so maybe the reply, if one was sent, was in there. Unfortunately, I cannot add read receipts to my emails. If I never get the codes emailed before I leave, I'll just get tested when in Paris and get a three day pass. I'm not leaving until late September so maybe I applied too early.

JHK, good to know you did not receive an automated response and Ron, also good to know you had 10% who did not get them either.

I submitted today and no auto response to either my inbox or spam box.

We are completing the form but are confused about what to put in these spaces (end of the form):

Done at …………. (Town/city) …………………………., on …………………(date)……………………

Do we put in our home city and today’s date?

Thank you!

I applied in the evening and did not receive an automated response. My husband applied the next morning and he did receive the automated response. We depart on September 5.

I sent both in on August 17 in the evening and got an auto response to each application; I did send them from different emails. We are going in mid September so won't panic for a couple of weeks.

My husband and I sent in our applications August 16th for a September 8th arrival date and have yet to receive a QR code. We did receive the automated reply immediately. Hoping to receive our QR code soon.

Also, do we need to resubmit our applications if our arrival date is changing? We're thinking we may go earlier now.
