Uber to CDG airport from Thiery at 5.30am

Hi,
I need to be at CDG airport for an 8am flight & want to take an Uber, is this feasible at 5.30am & approximately how much would it cost?
Thank you,
Pam
I thought Thiery was a suburb . I am going to stay about 10 kms from CDG airport.
I have read a few reviews of G 7 which weren't great.
Thoughts?
Thank you. :)
I am flying to Greece.

Hi,
What's "Thiery"? Is it Château-Thierry? If so, it is a small town, no Uber and few cabs. You would need to arrange something in advance, and no later than 5 AM - or even 4.30 for flights outside of the EU.

I’ll be honest, I think that’s really pushing it. If anything happens with the cab being delayed, or the Uber, depending on which you choose, you could really be screwed. If it were me, I would stay someplace near CDG at one of the airport hotels. And I’m not sure where your flight is going to, but if it’s an international flight, you’re only giving yourself an hour and a half before the flight time, which could be a problem.

Oh, I missed the fact that we only are giving ourselves 2 1/2 hours for this whole adventure. Yep this is a recipe for missing a flight

Pamela, regardless of the distance, if this is an international flight, the airlines suggest strongly that you be there three hours before your flight, which means you should be there at 5 AM. You could maybe push it till 530, but seeing as it’s CDG I really would not chance it. And if you’re only 6 miles from the airport, then you might want to contact your hotel and ask them if they have a shuttle service or if they are able to call a cab for you or an Uber at that hour.

I just saw that you edited your post, and that you are flying to Greece, which means that you only need to be there two hours ahead of time. This is good information to put in the post when you first write it for future reference. At any rate, You should be able to make it to the airport by 6 AM. But I still would recommend that you contact your hotel and ask them about local options for getting to the airport.

I learned, despite Uber's advertising the ability to pre-book a ride, many early morning trips don't always get picked up as drivers do this job to suit their schedules and don't always want to break their personal morning routines. I would email and request a ride from your hotel...or at least find out their recommendations.
