Is Uber generally available outside of Paris?
Our specific interests are Beaune, Arles and Amboise. And, possibly also in Lyon.
Is there a recommended French alternative to Uber?

Uber is generally available in French cities. This does not include Beaune, Arles and Amboise (too small towns), but it includes Lyon.
Freenow and Bolt are alternative apps, but, likewise, they won't work in Beaune, Arles or Amboise.
