Trip to St. Denis

Andrei - Take Metro Line 8 from Ecole Militaire to Gare du Nord. From Gare du Nord, transfer to Metro line 13 to Saint Denis. The whole trip takes 35 minutes.

You can always plan out trips on mass transit in Paris using www.ratp.fr/en. You need to get to metro line 13, assuming by St. Denis, you mean the Basilica Saint-Denis stop. Of course, you could mean Rue Saint-Denis in Paris or somewhere in the suburb of Saint-Denis. Assuming you mean the Basilica, you will exit line 13 at the Basilique de Saint-Denis. Metro line 8, which stops at Ecole Militaire, connects with line 13 at Invalides. You could also just walk over to the Invalides stop. Check these directions on the website before you head out in case there are any line closures on your travel day.

Walk to Saint-François-Xavier, catch metro 13 towards Saint-Denis – Université (Varenne)

Line 8 does not stop at Gare du Nord but then again neither does line 13.

Sorry, I mean Basilique St. Denis. The only place I want to see in St. Denis.

Andrei-1994, If you want to go the Basilica, please follow either the directions provided by Simon or my suggestion to walk to Invalides to catch line 13 or take line 8 to line 13. No need to go to Gare du Nord and the closest metro station to the Basilica is Basilique de Saint-Denis. Hotel De Ville-Metro-Tramway is the name of the bus stop right outside the station.

Metro 8 to 13 then walk 5 minutes.
