My husband and I are traveling to France for a 12 day stay for our anniversary arriving into CDG on November 3rd. We've already planned to spend our first six days in Paris but are debating where to explore beyond that. We're leaning towards Normandy for 3-4 days and unsure where to round the trip out for the last couple days.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Consider doing that in reverse order, second destination first, Paris last. The day you are typically tired, another short trip is not going to cost you much. Just do not driver after an all night transatlantic flight. Take the train to Bayeux or Tours if you want to visit the Loire Valley for a few days. Then return to Paris and you will be in position for a departing flight when your trip is over.
