I will be Travelling from Paris to Dijion (staying in Beaune) in April. I have never used the metro. Just starting to learn.
I will be staying at the Hotel de Louvre in Paris. Can anyone advise what the nearest station would be for me to start journey to Dijion??Also any tips to a first-time metro traveler would be helpful. Merci

From your hotel you can walk about 2 minutes to the Palais Royal - Musee du louvre Metro Station.
Metro line 1 (headed towards Chateau de Vincennes) will get you to the Gare de Lyon Metro Station in less than 10 minutes. Your train to Dijon will be leaving from the Gare de Lyon train station.
You should download a Paris transit app to your phone. There are several to choose from. I like the Citymapper app. Besides providing directions, it will alert you that your stop is coming up and the best exit to use at the station and more.
