We are traveling with a motorhome from France to Costa Blanca Spain Mid Feb...wondering which way is best weather wise East or West Coast at this time of year

It depends on where you're coming from in France.
Starting from western France (Brittany, Normandy for example), you can follow the French west coast to Hendaye in the Basque Country, then cross diagonally into Spain via Zaragoza to the Costa Bianca.
From Paris, you should drive via Toulouse on the A20. Another option is via Clermont-Ferrand and the A75.
I'm not mentioning the many alternative routes off the highways, which take longer, but are toll-free and therefore cheaper.
Whatever route you choose, you will need to find an overnight stop (at least).

thanks for that..we are thinking maybe the west coast....as less mountainous . Thanks your replt has given us an option (Toulouse) we had not thought of
