Hello
Funny question, has anyone traveled in France recently and had to pick up diapers. I obviously don’t want to pack enough to last the whole trip and I don’t want to make a poor choice once there. I’m guessing there will be some familiar brads but if not I could use some suggestions.
Thank you.
If you don't get any answers, I'd email your accommodation with the question.
You’ll find Pampers though other brands are sold, too.
Europeans have the same need for diapers as do Americans and their babies are about the same size. We traveled with a six month old granddaughter and no problem buying as we went.
Monoprix sells pampers, you can see all the packs, etc., online.
Roditron,
You will find diapers, wipes, baby food, and all needed baby supplies at the corner grocery (Carrefour, Monoprix, and Casino are popular chains). Some brands you will recolonize some not. If you have trouble finding what you need just ask for help. Everyone loves babies! We took our then 7 month old daughter in Oct. 2017 and didn't have any trouble finding baby supplies in Germany, Switzerland, or France.
Your plan to carry a day or two's supply and then replenish will work just fine, and is what I would recommend.
You didn't ask but I would also recommend a baby carrier, if your child is still small enough to be be carried, instead of stroller, as it will be easier on cobblestones and public transportation.
I hope y'all have a great trip, you and your baby will love France!
You can find Pampers, Huggies... Just know that sizes might be different, so go by the child's weight.
Make sure to know what your baby’s weight is in kilos (a quick google will sort you out)
