Hi-
We are taking our kids to Paris and wanted to know if anyone could give us some recommendations on what to see/where to go? We will be there for 4 days?
Thanks in advance,
Amy

Have you viewed the videos by RS on this website? They are informative and easy to watch. He has several episodes on Paris. Also, what you see is determined by what your interests are. Spring for the RS Paris 2020 tourbook to get a decent idea of what is out there. When you have a better idea, come back and ask specific questions.
For your kids, don’t miss the wonderful playground in the Luxembourg Gardens. They also have marionette shows, pony rides, a carousel, a café, crêpe stands and restrooms. My son loved it there.
Also, in the Bois de Boulogne on the western side of Paris is a wonderful, old fashioned amusement park called
Jardin d’Acclimatation. It’s very French, clean and very fun for kids your children’s ages. A true Back Door experience.
Thank you so much for these suggestions.
I just got my granddaughter this book to get her ready for a Louvre visit. She’ll choose what we’ll see.

Hi Amy — the big newspapers and travel magazines always seem to be publishing articles about “Paris with kids”. - if you do an internet search I am sure you will find helpful articles from the New York Times, the Guardian (British), traveling magazines, and even mom blogs!
I took my kids to Paris when they were young. They loved the Eiffel Tower and going up to the top. Also, love the Seine Riverboat ride.
We did the Lourve and quite frankly, my seven year old was ready to leave after half an hour. My eleven year old was still interested.
I would advise against much museum time with three small kids. You can always come back to Paris when they grow older.
This post dates from January and has only been resuscitated by a more recent self-advertising response.
Assuming this will be over summer or in the early autumn when weather is good, Id recommend the beautiful parks like Monceau, Butte-chaumont and Jardin des plantes with the small zoo (managerie)! Great for kids! depends where you will be staying - Paris is a lot bigger than it looks so can be hard for kids walk around..
There's also a cool science museum with great options for kids but my fav is the Natural history with all the big dinosaur bones! its also near the managerie zoo!
We also love crepes as filling, affordable and relatively easy to eat for kids.
Some good options on here.
