Traveling to France over Easter. Any recommendations on how to spend the holiday?

Hello! I am in the middle of planning our Europe trip and we are looking at spending Easter in France (we will actually be landing in France on 3/24 and either staying in France the entire time or continuing on to a different country: Switzerland, Italy or Spain, after the Easter holiday and into April.). I know holidays are very important and many places close. I am concerned that we will have no where to go on Easter. I would like to immerse ourselves in the culture and experience some of the traditions, if possible. Right now we are definitely going to Lyon but other than that, we don’t have any concrete plans on where else to go. Where would you recommend? Can we experience some of the traditions on Easter being visitors?

Things will be open Easter in France. It's a holiday. Families have meals together and not much more.
