Traveling to France

Hello,
This is our first trip to Europe since the pandemic. Is 1 hour and 45 minutes enough time to get through customs and the next flight in the same terminal 2 at CDG. Don't know if there is any additional time needed for Covid vaccination proof? thanks

You don't really give enough details here. Are both flights on just one ticket? What is your final destination?

Thanks, We arrive in CDG at 10:50 and have a flight with Air France, separate Ticket, to Ljubljana Slovenia at 12:40, same terminal. Less time than I would like but the next flight is 6pm.

That’s a very tight connection, even if you’re only doing carryon luggage. If you’re checking a bag, I don’t think you’ll make it. You just have to decide if it’s worth chancing it.

Especially since it's not a connection, but separate flights. You'll probably end up having to purchase day-of tickets for the 6 pm flight anyway after you miss the earlier one .

If you can convince AF to check your luggage through to Ljubljana from your origination, thereby eliminating the need to pick it up for rechecking, you might have a chance with only 1+40 at CDG. Otherwise, you'll be required to exit the arrival area with other non-connecting passengers, go through passport control (which can easily take 1 hour or more), pickup your luggage, proceed to the check in counter, where baggage check in is typically cut off 1 hour before departure, then back through security and on to your gate. There is no outbound passport control as Slovenia is part of the Schengen zone.

This assumes that your CDG arrival is on time or early. CDG is really not the airport for minimum ground time, self connect itineraries.

The separate tickets are a HUGE problem for you. Reconsider your flights...
