Traveling route to see Mont St- Michel and DDay Beaches and Giverny

We are headed to Paris for the Olympics and are coming the week before and I am trying to figure out the best path to see Mont St Michel, DDay Beaches, Roen, Giverny, and ending back in Paris or Disneyland Paris.

I am thinking arrival day drive to Mont St Michel, spend the night.

Day 2 see the Mont and then head to Bayeux and use as headquarters for 2-3 days.
Then leave and head to Roen and spend the night and see Roen and Giverny on the way to Disneyland Paris.

Is this doable? Best route? Hotel suggestions?

It is over two hundred miles from Paris to the Mont. I don't think it is wise to drive that far after an international flight. Perhaps you could take a train to Bayeau on arrival, stay a couple of days touring the area and then return to Paris?? We were just in Bayeau last week and our B&B hostess said she is already having trouble getting parking allowances for her guests as the 80th anniversary of D-Day is coming up and the summer will be busier in Normandy this year.

Thanks! I was noticing the rooms are filling up fast. I have booked a place a Bayeux. Thanks for the heads up. My oldest daughter will already be in France and she can drive as well.

Fantastic. Try to see movie the Longest Day before you head to the beaches. It is very close to the true story and worth watching. We loved Bayeau and returning again in May. Enjoy!

I have done a similar route—although not on arrival day. I took a TGV train from Gare Montparnasse to Rennes (1-1/2 hours) and picked up a rental car there. That beats the 4-ish hour drive from Paris to MSM right after arriving. From there I think it is about an hour drive to MSM, and a little over two hours from there to Bayeux. Just make sure to check if there is a fee to drop off your car in a different location. Of course, you will have to add in your time to get from CDG to Gare Montparnasse.
