Traveling from Paris to Bayeux

We will arrive into Charles de Gaulle next week and our plans are to take a taxi to Gare Saint Lazare to travel to Bayeux the day we land. My question: It is possible to go directly to Bayeux from the airport?
Thank you for your assistance,

I have looked at this same problem of getting to Bayeux the same day you fly into Paris. There are transfer companies (google them) that will pick you up at the airport and drive you to Bayeux but the cost is significant (~350-500 Euros). If cost is an issue then taking the train straight from the airport you can connect via subway with the Gare Saint Lazare to get on the train to Bayeux, this makes for a long day since you have been flying all night!

If your not on a tight schedule then I would take the train to Paris and stay 2 days to get over jetlag and leisurely enjoy Parisian Bistros, etc. and then take the train to Bayeux.

We did that last month although arrived by Eurostar. If from.airport I seem to remember taxi was about 50 euro. Don't remember cost of train to Bayeau and I think it took about two hours. There is a taxi stand at train station in Bayeau. Fyi if you need bathroom in Paris train station you need a euro to pay and bathroom is tucked way In The corner near train tracks. In Bayeau be sure to get dinner reservations as walk ins might not be able to find a seat. Train was awesome and very clean. We bought tickets ahead of time and had it on our phone. Enjoy Bayeau. If you want a good tour of the beaches I can highly recommend one we took. It is a small company and we paid for the private tour for the two of us. We had the best day ever. Yes it will be a long day but can be done.

I have done this trip many times. I almost always take the RoissyBus. You take it right outside of arrivals at CDG, and it brings you to Palais Garnier—which is a 7-minute walk to Gare Saint Lazare. €16.20 per person, and you don't have to change, or navigate stairs or escalators. If you have several people and/or excessive luggage, a Taxi will be your best option. €53 for up to four people.

Your original plan makes the most sense, or Pharmer Phil's if you don't mind the walk with luggage. Taxi would be faster. No need to book the train ahead, just get tickets at the station.
