We're trying to find relatively direct transport from Bordeaux to Bilbao in September. We've found a bus company that appears to service the route. Has anyone had any experience with bus companies that serve the area? We have ruled out car rental because of the additional expense of a 2nd country drop-off, and both air and train involve many changes.

We have used the bus company ALSA and have been very pleased. The route takes about 4 hours and costs about $45. You can reserve on line easily. Fran

I have also been happy with a variety of bus routes and companies in Spain and other parts of Europe. They all use relatively large, comfortable buses.
