My husband and I plan to be in Rouen in June for overnight, rent car and then travel to Le Havre on way to Honfluer for overnight. Wondering if taking train to Le Havre and then back to Rouen to pick up car for travel to Honfluer makes sense? Pros and cons for having car or taking train? Hearing from experienced travelers is so valuable on this site. Thanks in advance.
Rouen and Le Havre are on the same main railway line, so rail journeys are fairly frequent and quick. I don't know about what car parking is like in Le Havre, which I suspect would be your main issue.
Thanks for response. My concern is also the car. We will need since we will be going to Mont St. Michel and Bayeaux, turning car in at Caen before training back to Paris. Have a car park in Honfluer so no concern there. Thanks again for your thoughts.
