Has anyone tried the Travel to Europe app before flying to CDG? Supposedly minimizes the EES process when one arrives at CDG . . . ??

At this moment the app can only be useful when entering Sweden, where it supports passport data, facial image and entry questionnaire and Portugal, where it supports the entry questionnaire.

I have flown into CDG from the U.S. three times since April 10 (when EES supposedly became fully operational) and have yet to go through EES.

Hi, skipnstones, and welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, the Travel to Europe app right now only works in two different countries; Sweden and Portugal. Hopefully that will change as the other countries get the process moving along. There are a lot of glitches going on at this time. So really all you can do now is just get to the airport early and hope for the best.
I just got back from Europe and didn't have any problems going in either direction at the airport (although Iceland is not using their EES machines now), so I think it's getting better, hopefully. Obviously there are some places that are still pretty chaotic, but it depends on the location and the time period. Once the summer is over, I think things might cool down a bit. 😊
