We are starting to put together plans for a trip to France for the last half of April 2027. The focus of the trip will be:
1. Normandy - D-day beaches and other sites, probably planning for 3-4 days
2. Paris - All the touristy things, at least 4-5 days
3. Another thought came to mind as we were thinking about things for this trip. Taking the train to London and spending a couple days there. The Bayeux tapestry has been on display there so that would be on the list if it is still there.
I will need to find out what station is used for the train under the channel to London, so if someone has done this your insights would be greatly appreciated.
We have friends who have been to Paris and Normandy so I am gathering input from them as well as any and all tips and insight I can gather here.
Thanks in advance to anyone sending a reply.
