Travel -Marseille Airport to Aix en Provence

My husband and I will be arriving at Marseille Airport and will be staying in Aix en Provence. What would be the best way to travel to get there? We are open to taking buses or trains. We do not plan on renting a car until we leave Aix en route to St Remy a few days later. Any recommendations will be appreciated!

Make sure you get off the bus at Aix bus station, the bus will also call at Aix TGV high-speed rail station first, which is miles from anything else. The Aix bus station is on the edge of the centre and you may need to get a local bus closer to your hotel.
