travel into Paris, France...

We are taking our 16 year old granddaughter to Paris this December. Each of us will have a passport, but our granddaughter's last name is different than ours. Beyond passports is there any other documentation advisable?

I would suggest a notarized statement from both parents giving both grandparents permission to take their child out of the country and authorizing them to consent to medical treatment.

I am taking my two oldest granddaughters to Paris next month. My travel agent had the 17 yr old's parents fill out and have notarized forms giving me permission to take her out of the US and for return home. Definitely for the airline (Lufthansa). Because this is a RS tour, there was some additional 'permissions' paperwork for the tour company also. She is 17.5. The older grandgirl is 18 and didn't need anything additional either for the airlines or RS. Medical permissions were part of that, also. I would ask her parents to check into anything else you might legally need for her. Have fun! We are planning to......😀
