Travel Help From Beaune, France to Vernazza, Italy.

Hi,
I am planning a trip to France and Italy. My husband and I are spending 4 days in Paris, and want to go to Beaune next. The problem I'm coming across is when trying to travel from Beaune to our next destination - Vernazza in the Cinque Terra, Italy. I am searching on Rail Europe, and can't find trains from Beaune to Genoa (to connect to Vernazza from there), or Beaune to Geneva (thinking I could get a train from Geneva to Genoa, then to Vernazza). I would appreciate any suggestions for travel from Beaune ending up in Vernazza, and also hotel recommendations for Beaune.

Thanks in advance!
Emily

Stop looking at Rail Europe, they are ticket brokers and do not show all trains available, and they charge higher prices.

Easiest is to go to bahn.de (German rail site), use their timetable to research schedules, then book the ticket on Trenitalia or the French rail site. You will be taking a combination of fast and regional trains, so you may need both national rail sites to purchase tickets, or wait to buy the regional ticket once you are in Italy.
