Hello!
One segment of our 2027 Europe trip will include travel in late September from Paris through the burgundy area of France to Geneva. We will have 4 (possibly 5 nights) to make this trip. We do not stay in extravagant hotels; instead we prefer small, family-owned, more authentic accommodations and experiences. Because the total trip is a long one, we are budget-conscious. We enjoy wine tastings, beautiful scenery, small towns and villages, and local culture, markets and activities. We plan to rent a car for this part of the trip (unless someone has a better suggestion).
I'm hoping that some of you out there have made a similar trip and can share a good route, good accommodations, must see stops and activities, and/or the gems that you found along the way on your trip.
Many thanks to this group, you are the best!
