We will end our travels in Nice on a Friday morning; our flight home leaves from Paris the next day at 10:00. We have booked a hotel close to the airport.
We are considering the following options for Friday travel to CDG:
TGV to CDG - Potential upside is less expense (?), relaxing travel through the French countryside. Potential downside is the inability to request a forward facing seat. Slight motion sickness makes sitting backwards a problem. Are the trains likely to be crowded/full; or will there be options for changing seats/moving into empty seats once we're on board?
Fly to CDG - Potential upside is more time in Nice. Potential downside is more expense, depending on the carrier.
Any and all suggestions/ideas welcomed! Thanks!
