Travel from Migennes to CDG

We will be flying traveling from Migennes to an airport hotel (Residhome Apparthotel) on July 1 and flying home the next day. What is the best way to get there? Is there a train that stops at the airport without having to go into Paris?

Trains from Laroche-Migennes go from to Bercy train station. That is not a very convenient station to get to the airport. There are a couple of direct trains a day to Gare de Lyon. Take one of those.

In France, all (rail) roads lead to Paris, so you pretty much cannot avoid it. To get from Gare de Lyon, take the RER A to Les Halles and simply take the RER B across the platform to CDG. Another way is to take Le Bus Direct from Gare de Lyon to CDG. There is a free shuttle to both of the Residome Apparthotels from CDG. Call them when you arrive to get a ride.

And if you do take one of the local trains that does go to Bercy, it's a 1.2 mile straight walk to Gare de Lyon.

Is there a possibility of a train strike July 1? If so, can we get a bus from Migennes to Paris?
Also, which would be easier for handling our luggage - The RER from Gare de Lyon or the bus?

SNCF only lists the "scheduled" strike days through June, but the pattern seems to be 2 strike days followed by 3 non-strike days. June 27 & 28 are "strike" days, so June 29, 30 & July 1 should be OK.

For luggage, Le Bus Direct wins as the luggage will be stored underneath in the hold and you will not have to wrestle with it.

Edit - Le Bus Direct is 18 EUR per person plus 1 EUR if you buy your ticket from the driver. The RER with luggage is not too tough if they have wheels. It is escalator/elevator to the platforms at Gare de Lyon, easy cross platform change at Les Halles, escalator at CDG. The train cars themselves are open like subway cars so you sit on the side and hang on to your luggage in front of you. Cost is 10.30 EUR per person, so depending on how many pennies you want to pinch, it is a cheaper option. Finally, if "we" is 3 or 4, a taxi at the fixed rate of 50 EUR is also an option.

Thanks Sam. There are 4 adults so a taxi would make the most sense so long as they have enough room for our luggage - at least 4 suitcases.

We're not sure what time we will leave Migennes. I noticed there are a several trains/day. Is it possible to buy a ticket at the station or do we need to purchase in advance? Is there much difference in price?
