Hello:
We are travelling to Aix en Provence from Marseilles Airport on September 7th. What is the best way to get there. Is the train station located right at the Mrseilles airport or is it best to just take the shuttle from the airport.

I don’t know how helpful this will be but we took a taxi FROM Aix TO Marseilles for our flight home from France. I am sure taking a bus is also an option.
Take the bus L040 from the airport to Aix en Provence. It takes about 30 minutes, cost is under 5€.
Yes, there is a fairly frequent bus service from the airport to Aix. A couple of notes - the bus stops in between at the TGV high-speed railway station for Aix which is really in the middle of nowhere, so don't get off there. Also, in Aix the bus terminates at the main Aix bus station which is a little way outside the city centre, you may have to get a local bus on to where you are staying.
