I'll be going to Palace of Versailles from 7th Arr. on a Thursday, any recommendation on what's the best way to go there by public transit?

Take the Metro to a stop served by the RER C suburban train that stops at Versailles
You can put the nearest metro station or an address in the 7th to Versailles and it will give you directions using the Paris Rapid Transit database

At some stations the RERC has a few branches. Be sure to take the train labeled “Versailles Château Rive Gauche”. Ride to the last stop. Exiting the station, it’s about a ten minute walk to the Château.

If you plan this trip between now and the end of August, the RER C to Versailles starts at Javel which you can reach by metro.
