Transportation to Hotel de Fleurie

Hi

We arrive in Paris on June 9 and will be staying at the Hotel de Fleurie in the St. Germain district. Any suggestions on the best way to get there from CDG?

thanks

What is the address of this hotel? What is/are the nearest métro station(s)?
You will need this information if you are to stay there, as the local métro station will be your local transport hub. You can look up the nearest station on a map, once you have the hotel address.
Once you know the nearest métro station, the answer as to how to get there from Charles de Gaulle airport is to take the RER from the airport, followed by the métro to your local métro stop. Métro, bus and RER maps are available at the RATP (Paris Transport Authority) site here: http://ratp.fr/
If there are a lot of you, or you have a lot of heavy luggage, you could take a taxi, but that will be more expensive and slower.

The website for the hotel has a Location page on the English language page.

It reads:=

Getting to Hotel de Fleurie

To get to our hotel rue Grégoire de Tours – Hôtel Paris 75006

Take the metro line 4 and get off at the Odéon station or line 10 and
get off at Mabillon. Take the RER B or C and get off at
Saint-Michel/Notre Dame (5 minutes’ walk). Take bus lines
21-38-58-70-86-87-96. The hotel is 5 minutes’ walk

So take the RER B from the airport to the Saint-Michel/Notre Dame stop - hotel is 5 minute walk from there. Pretty easy - no changes.

I stayed in St Germain and found that taking a taxi was perfect, did not want to deal with trains or the metro as a Paris newbie, and now that I've experienced the trains and metro, can unequivocally state that while I can now understand how to get to/from the airport on them, I wouldn't want the hassle--up and down stairs, crowded to bursting trains. I collected my suitcase, got in the official taxi line behind 2 other people and within 3 minutes was on my way, on a Monday morning at 11 am I was at my hotel in 25 minutes. Make sure you say to the driver "55 euro, correct?" The to/from airport fare is now capped at that but some could try to take advantage and charge more.

If you're coming from overseas, and are not used to using mass transport with luggage, you should probably take a taxi. In addition, there are planned transportation strikes - train, RER, etc - which will tie things up considerably.

Follow the overhead signs to the official TAXI stand and get in line. Hand the driver the complete printed address of your hotel, including the Postal Code. You'll pay 55 EU for up to 4 passengers and luggage to your hotel. The trip will take about one hour. You don't have to tip the driver unless you want to, and he'll be happy with a couple of euros. If you need to pay via credit/debit card, ask before you get into the taxi.
